Non-Player Characters

Dr. Weyland-- (science & math teacher) Generally sarcastic and blackly humorous, Dr. Weyland is nonetheless avuncular towards bright students and will engage them at length about their problems.  Dr. Weyland has very little sense of what information is age-appropriate.


Kanae Ohtori-- (Headmistress) Around 60, unmarried, childless, and a total hardass.  Very little sympathy for students.


Nile Turner-- A tall Westerner of unknown origin, educational consultant for the school.  Nile has gold hair, a chiseled face, and wears a morning coat and pearl tie-pin.  



Issei-- (studious fourth grader) Taking science from Dr. Weyland.  Wants to be more grown-up.  Recently, his hands are bandaged and he looks wan and lacks energy.


Yutaka-- (architecture otaku) A relentless maker, and social autist, Yutaka has mapped out the school in meticulous detail.  Yutaka usually sits at the center of the Valpurgis building, benificently overseen in his efforts by Dr. Weyland.  He's also involved in dressing sets for the Rose Croix.



Tesser Lindisfarne-- (English librarian),
15. Pathologically shy, Tesser nonetheless
keeps meticulous tabs on the student
body and the relationships of one to another.
Althea Stonewall-- (disgraced runner), 16. Althea eats
her lunches in secluded areas now. 
She avoids other students reflexively,
but can't help keeping track of Kiyone.









Tadashi-- (Rebel-without-a-cause), 16.  A constant discipline problem, Tada is aggressive and crude.  While most of his destruction is impulsive, he may also plan mayhem.


Yoko-- (straight-A student)
Head of the Honors Society.  Serious as
the grave, Yoko's hobby is contemplating
students' future possibilities outside the school. 
Wary of Kamiko.  Since dueling Aoi,
Yoko has gone through a radical personality
shift, and now parties as though there is no tomorrow.



Shiro Saionji-- (entitled pugilist) A consummate wrestler, Saionji is contemptuous and overconfident.  Psychotically resentful of Max.  Prone to biting.  Following his duel, he deeply fears any injury, though his bluster remains.


Haruka-- (Goth queen), 16.  
Immaculate, dark, romantic.  
Obsessed with the secret history of the school.
Chuck-- (band leader) Dance hall fanatic Chuck idolizes the 1940s, and has an easy way with students and teachers.  Often hosts or organizes parties.  His great stature makes him an imposing presence, and he will often take it upon himself to act as a doorman at events.


Sander Goldbaum-- (exotic) The child of a globetrotting reporter, Sander's vast experience of the world has made him indifferent to any specific part of it.  Always somewhat distant in conversation, like he's lost in thought.  More interested in nature and architecture at Ohtori than its students, he is nonetheless a crush for a substantial segment of the student body, with his sharp face, long body, and tousled locks.



Jiko, Echiko, & Aiko--Experimental theatre girls!  Jiko and Echiko are visionistas, while Aiko is an experimental actress.  Obsessed with theatrical elegance, archetypes, and Plato's Cave shadows.  Will expound for some time on their latest projects (which may even be relevant) if asked.


Ayano--(manic pixie) A charitable description
of Ayano would be "free-spirited".  She cares
very little for social mores or graces,
believing that these customs get in the way
of honest creative expression.



Minoru--(stoner) Contemplative and peaceable, Minoru regards Ohtori holistically, as a fractal system that operates both within every student and as an overarching structure.  Loves expanding his consciousness, albeit not via reading.


Lalo d'Anconia--(Argentine popular boy) Gay as all hell.  Quite a dresser, and prone to sudden and extreme violence.  


Ruta Lepp--(Estonian Queen bee)
Den mother of the Gold Room
in the Gallery. Lavishes attention on
her chosen, then shuts them out. 
Her cronies do the rest.
